MARS 2120: Futuristic Metroidvania Adventure Launches on August 1st!

Independent developer QUByte Interactive announced at Gamescom LATAM that their futuristic metroidvania platformer, MARS 2120, will release on August 1st. The game will be available on PC (Steam and Epic Store), Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox Series consoles. After a successful Early Access period, the game, dubbed “the Brazilian Metroid Dread,” is ready for its 1.0 release.

In MARS 2120, players explore a post-colonization Mars, where settlers now face unknown threats. Players will wield elemental abilities and navigate various biomes to uncover Mars' secrets and save the colony. Wishlist MARS 2120 on Steam now!

In MARS 2120, humanity has successfully colonized various planets, offering an escape from Earth's increasingly grim situation. After the UN receives a distress call from Mars, Sergeant Anna “Thirteen” Charlotte and an elite team of space marines are tasked with rescuing the first colony. Players will traverse a harsh Martian landscape, battling formidable and mysterious foes using a mix of ranged and melee attacks alongside elemental skills.
