Valorant Mobile to Introduce Full Replay System Ahead of PC Release, Leaks Reveal
Leaked information suggests that Valorant is developing a full replay system, which is already functional in the game, but it seems it will be available exclusively for mobile platforms.
Since Valorant launched, players have been requesting a replay system to review their gameplay. Despite four years of waiting, Riot Games has yet to introduce this feature to the PC version.
In March 2024, the developers addressed the topic, explaining that the complexity of implementing a replay system had prevented them from providing an estimated release date for the feature on PC.
However, with Valorant mobile entering its alpha stage, leaks have surfaced, revealing that the mobile version is getting the first fully operational replay system—well ahead of any release on PC. According to leakers who shared details during the alpha testing, the mobile version's replay system allows players to review entire matches.
Features of the mobile replay system include changing player perspectives, x-ray vision, full stats, KDA tracking, and the ability to scrub through the match second by second. It remains unclear whether the system includes a free-roam view similar to those found in games like Counter-Strike 2 or Overwatch 2.
One leaker, ValorantMobileX, posted a video showcasing the system, noting that replays may be deleted after each game update, which is common in other titles with similar features.
The PC version previously had a limited replay system when Valorant launched in China in 2023, but it only allowed players to view kill highlights rather than a comprehensive match review. As of now, there is no release date for the mobile version or any timeline for a full replay viewer on PC.
