Fortnite Prepares to Haunt the Island with Michael Myers and Jack Skellington Skins

Fortnite is gearing up for an eerie collaboration, this time with iconic spooky movie characters Michael Myers and Jack Skellington. The game has a history of impressive crossovers, spanning fashion and beauty brands like Ralph Lauren and Revolution Beauty, to legendary movie franchises such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

Fortnitemares, Fortnite's Halloween-themed event, is highly anticipated each year, offering a perfect backdrop for unique collaborations. Gamers eagerly await the introduction of scary cosmetic items, and they often hope to see their beloved spooky characters from various universes in the popular battle royale game.

Fortnitemares has already welcomed several established characters into Fortnite, including Frankenstein's Monster, The Mummy, and Ash Williams. Now, fans can look forward to acquiring Michael Myers and Jack Skellington skins. Jack Skellington from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" is set to debut on October 23, followed by Michael Myers from "Halloween" on October 24, both releasing at 8 PM ET during the Item Shop refresh.

These skins will likely be available as bundles, given the array of cosmetic items in their sets. Michael Myers' collection includes a knife harvesting tool, a carved pumpkin back bling, and an emote featuring the classic Halloween theme song. Jack Skellington's set is even more extensive, with a skeletal reindeer glider, a candy cane umbrella pickaxe, and Zero, a pet back bling.

While the Fortnitemares event runs until the end of Chapter 4 Season 4, Jack Skellington's skin could double as a Christmas skin. It offers two style options, featuring his classic black suit and a Santa Claus costume. Holiday-themed skins are typically released in December, allowing players to enjoy this character for multiple occasions by switching between styles.
