G2's sponsor has been accused of engaging in money laundering activities. As a result, Valve has blocked the associated accounts with skins totaling $2 million

Valve conducted a second wave of account bans targeting skin traders, resulting in the blocking of 40 accounts with a combined value of over $2 million.

The new wave of bans proved to be much stronger compared to the previous one, where skins worth $375,000 were blocked. However, that is not the most important aspect. It is reported that all the blocked accounts were associated with the portal CSGORoll, which is a sponsor of the leading G2 esports club.

Another portal, CSGOEmpire, accuses CSGORoll of money laundering through skins and claims to have warned everyone about the fraudulent intentions of G2's sponsors.

G2's sponsor, CSGORoll, was banned by the Australian government in May 2023. Furthermore, G2 has been involved in scandals with this sponsor in the past. The club placed an advertisement for skin roulette on the day of their player m0nesY's 18th birthday, which violates the law as the advertisement was placed before the player reached the legal age.

During the Major tournament, a CSGORoll user attached himself to G2's booth and caused a scene, loudly proclaiming that CSGORoll is a scam and that he lost his own apartment on their website.
