Remnant 2 Final Expansion and Major Free Update: New Boss Rush Mode, Prism System, and More!

Active support for the looter-shooter Remnant 2 is set to wrap up with the release of its third and final expansion, The Dark Horizon. Alongside this expansion, players can expect a substantial free update packed with new content and various improvements.

In the new story campaign, players will unravel the mysteries of N'Erud, a world frozen in time where all the inhabitants have long perished. Once helpful farming robots have now become a dangerous threat at every turn, as you hunt for a towering, mystical creature that looms over the horizon. In this otherworldly new setting, you'll explore fresh dungeons, experiment with a unique glider-based movement system, collect powerful gear, meet surprising allies, and confront new challenges.

Additionally, all players will receive free access to the Boss Rush mode. In this mode, you'll first choose from three difficulty levels and then face off against a series of bosses. During the run, you can earn temporary power-ups that boost your stats or provide passive bonuses to help you along the way. To access this mode, simply approach the World Stone in Ward 13 and select it from the menu.

Beyond the new game mode and quality-of-life updates, the expansion will also introduce a revamped prism system, replacing the old fragments system. Players will be able to collect prisms to gain extra stat bonuses.
