Roshan on the Loose: Dota 2 Bug Sparks Fan Demand for New Game Mechanic
A bug in Dota 2 matchmaking caused Roshan to walk back to his lair instead of teleporting. Fans enjoyed this glitch so much that they're now asking Valve to turn it into a permanent game mechanic.
The footage was shared on Reddit, where viewers could see both teams attacking the Roshan pit. Instead of teleporting, Roshan begins to walk through the forest to his second lair, knocking down everything in his way. Commenters were surprised to see this happen and expressed their hope that Valve would turn this bug into a full-fledged mechanic, allowing Roshan to roam the map.
Dota 2 fans believe that adding this mechanic would make matchmaking gameplay even more engaging. Some have suggested that Roshan could also kill neutral creeps or even hunt down players. Others speculated that Roshan might have been unable to use the portal because he was under the effect of Silence.
